STYLING WIDE LEG TROUSERS

Okay, the first thing to say about this outfit that it was taken immediately after Anne's Greek holiday during which time she put on six pounds!!! The result is that the T shirt does look a little snug around the middle in these shots - but the good news is she has now lost the weight again!

Interestingly she has disposed of many clothing items since the blog began - having seen how terrible she thinks she looks in some of the clothes, they have either been consigned to eBay or the charity shop!

The white top was a sale purchase from M&S at £10, but she has since spotted it even cheaper as the sales draw to a close. She has teamed it with some lightweight crepe green wide-legged pants which will be great for her next holiday since they are quite cool to wear, even in the heat.  These are from Primark, and also cost just £10, and just need a little hem, otherwise she will be tripping up in them.

The elasticated wedge sandals are ones she has had for years.

Anne's watch is an old favourite, bought from the Swarovski outlet at McArthur Glen Designer Outlet near York, which sells previous season's stock, so another bargain purchase, which she has had for a couple of years.

The bead necklace was one she borrowed from the other Anne, since these photographs were taken in her beautiful back garden.

Anne H's palazzo style pants are a sale bargain from Zara at just £25 and will make a fabulous addition to her holiday wardrobe.  They are really comfortable, as they are loose and flowing, but still dressy for evenings spent chatting with family and drinking cocktails.

Zara don't have this exact pair on sale anymore but they do have the same style in these lovely patchwork print blue ones for just £9.99

The V neck top is from the M&S Autograph range and is 100% silk.  The style is one she purchased from them earlier in the year but in a cheaper fabric.  The sheen of this silk one compliments the trousers perfectly and Anne knows this is the sort of versatile top she will wear time and time again.  It is not cheap at £45 but the weight of the fabric is such that it hangs perfectly.  She is considering purchasing the Teal one as well but is not so sure about the champagne-coloured one.

Her distinctive necklace is from Mandys Heaven and has featured on the blog previously. There is still a 15% discount for those using the code ANNE15 which reduces the already reasonable price of £25 still further.
